Although Murad is expensive it does have rave reviews, so when I saw this set in the Look Fantastic sale for about half price I had to give it a go.

When the set arrived I was genuinely surprised at how big the sample sizes were, they have enough product to last well over a month worth of use, depending on how much you use them.

Murad states that the set is gentle enough to use every day but I prefer to use the products when I feel is necessary.

I have found that the cleanser especially clears my pores, and I can see a noticeable difference after using it (its my favourite product from the set). Out of all four products the cleanser reacts the best with my spots.

Using the Exfoliating gel after the cleanser was too much for my skin and caused me to have a breakout. Using the products by themselves on different days however was more gentle on my skin.

The Acne Spot treatment does a really good job of drying up pesky spots. I would not recommend applying this before make up as the product will flake when touched(When it dries it creates a layer over the spot),instead I like to use it at night to avoid this.

As for the lotion its just like any moisturiser really. It's water based and contains Retinol.

In conclusion the cleanser has prevented further breakouts, which is what the set claims to do and people have said that my skin is clearing up so that must be a good sign. If I was to pick one product to re-purchase it would be the cleanser, but that's just personal preference and what seems to work best for my skin. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Feel free to share your thoughts and let me know of any recommendations you have.

Peter Thomas Roth do a similar tester set but I can't find it online at the moment.

Have a great day
Love
Jess xx
